Transportation Strike for March 2023 for Paris and the Île de France region (unlimited strike action)

Here’s what we know so far about the transportation strike for Wednesday March 8, 2023 for Paris and the Île de France region. Things should be a bit easier and more frequent today. Please be sure to check various timetables and service websites for the most up-to-date information on times, service, openings, and closures.
Getting around Paris does not need to be a burden when there’s a strike happening. Your best bet is to make sure that you know where you are going, when you are going and if it is open. You can check out my suggestions for getting around Paris during a transportation strike here.
One thing to keep in mind is that when there’s a strike going on, it not only affects the public transportation system, but also other areas of the public sector (think museums, galleries, etc…). So make sure you check the business’s website or ring them to see what the hours are.
