Unique Souvenirs to Bring Back from Paris

Looking for something different to bring back instead of those clunky Eiffel Towers or berets, or kitschy trinket bought from a mat in the Tuileries or by the Eiffel Tower? There are so many ways to celebrate and commemorate your time you’ve spent in Paris ! I’ve compiled my list of places of unique souvenirs to bring back from Paris that I share with friends and family for that unique and one-of-a-kind.

There are plenty of unique shops and stores around Paris that you won’t need to purchase from a carpet in front of the Eiffel Tower that could be snatched up at any second.

Shopping from these shops and stores, particularly small ones helps a small business in their day-to-day endeavors. Here’s a list of places I always send to friends and family when I know they’re looking for something different and memorable:

There are a whole slew of places you could find unique and different souvenirs to bring back from Paris. You don’t need those trinkets you find on a mat in the Tuileries garden or even near the Eiffel Tower. Find something that speaks to your heart and memory and your time here in Paris. You should be able to look at that item (or gift it to someone) and immediately be transported back to a moment in time in Paris.

Because I can’t let you down, here are a few other suggestions because there are never enough:

  • Puces d’Aligre, Porte de Vanves, Puces de Saint-Ouen or any vide grenier/brocante/puce for a unique and one-of-a-kind souvenir.
  • Any of the unique shops within the Passage Verdeau, Passage des Panoramas, Passage Jouffroy.
  • Les bouquinistes along the Seine (aka those green boxes).
  • La Boutique du Conseil Constitutionnel (unique French related items).
  • Boutique Florent Monestier.
  • Any cooking utensil from E. Dehillerin (they have the best paring knives and wooden spoons).
